Sioux Falls SNIP Monthly Get 'em Fixed
The Animal Resource Center's (ARC) monthly Spay Neuter Initiative Program (SNIP), offered in partnership with our friends at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, helps increase access to affordable veterinary care in our community. SNIP provides high-quality, *discounted spay and neuter surgeries to help prevent unwanted litters and improve pet health. Wags & Wellness Monthly Shot Clinic
Wellness begins with vaccinations! The Animal Resource Center's (ARC) monthly Wags & Wellness, offered at PetSmart Pet Wellness Veterinary Hospital helps increase access to *discounted vaccinations (aka shots) for pet families in the Sioux Falls area. Making veterinary care more accessible helps improve pet health in the area. These public clinics are held monthly in Sioux Falls and offer a limited number of appointments each month. ARC Distribution Center
To fill an animal services gap and ensure sustainability, ARC built a 1,200 sq ft temperature-controlled facility next to Shepherd's Stable at 85th & Sycamore. This Distribution Center receives semi-trucks of donated pet food and supplies that are distributed to community members in need through our partners including the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society,Brookings Regional Humane Society, Heartland Humane Society in Yankton and others.

Supporting Wamakanskan Wawokiye Oti "Helping Animals Center"
ARC supports the work at Wamakanskan Wawokiye Oti "Helping Animals Center" through volunteerism and donations of pet collars & leashes, cat carriers, ID tags, pet food, grooming & veterinary supplies. In 2025, Dr McLeod, Dr Harrist & Darci spent a week assisting with a RAVS pet wellness clinic in 3 different communities on the Rosebud Reservation. This clinic utilizes telemedicine services with veterinarians to provide care to pets in the community year-round.

Animal Resource Center (ARC) is supporting animal shelters, rescues and community member by providing pet-retention programs to help keep pets and families together and reduce unnecessary surrender.

ARC Ally Better Together Network
We're maximizing impact by working collaboratively with some of the leading
animal welfare organizations in the region. Our ARC Allies are trusted 501(c)(3) animal
shelters and rescue groups helping homeless pets in their communities while preventing
unnecessary surrenders through pet-retention programs.
ARC strengthens this network by providing:
